Overcoming Our Giants Part VI: Conclusion

Overcoming Our Giants Part VI: Conclusion

I want to end this series where we began.

In the first section, we see how David depended daily on the Holy Spirit long before he met Goliath.  By the time these two met face-to-face, we see in 1 Samuel 17:45 God had developed David into a new man.

David saw clearly how God was bigger than the giant standing before him.

When we come to face our own fears, will we declare our God to be beyond them?

When we see our dreams come true, will we bow down to worship our dreams?  Or will we stay true to God?

Will we love the dream more than the Dream-Giver?

After all, we never truly know when these days will come.

Yet, if we are faithful to spending daily time in the presence of the Holy Spirit, our giants will fall all the same.

We will begin to see our God is bigger than our darkest fears and more important than our wildest dreams.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever(Hebrews 13:8).

How will you spend time with God today, to conquer the giants we find tomorrow?
